Alex Ashby

Alex Ashby brings over 15 years of dedicated experience in health and safety. With a Bachelor of Science (Health Safety and Environment) and certification as a Safety Professional with AIHS, Alex also holds qualifications in Safety Lead Auditing, Security and Risk Management, and Management.

Alex's professional journey spans the defence industry, mining, and food safety. Currently, Alex is the Workplace Safety and Wellbeing Advisor for the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, overseeing safety for office workers, town maintenance officers, and volunteer bushfire brigades.

Having proudly served over 20 years in the defence force, Alex's extensive military background has uniquely honed their understanding of risk management and operational safety. Alex remains actively involved, currently serving as an Army Reservist and Infantry Officer engaging with Army Safety Working Groups.

As part of the WA Branch Committee Alex is looking to spread awareness of, and further develop in the Health and Safety Industry.
